Excerpt
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is an event that affects
and alters an entire family, not only the person with the injury.
It is our hope that this chapter will serve as an introduction to
service providers across disciplines to sensitize them to the needs
of families so that the role of family intervention can be spread
out and shared across the rehabilitation team and into the community.
