Jeffrey A. Lieberman, M.D., is the Lawrence C. Kolb Professor and Chair of Psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and director of the New York State Psychiatric Institute. He also holds the Lieber Chair for Schizophrenia Research in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia and serves as psychiatrist in chief at New York-Presbyterian Hospital–Columbia University Medical Center and associate editor of the American Journal of Psychiatry.
