A Systemic Approach to Resistance: Theoretical and Technical Considerations

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of resistance from a family systems perspective and illustrates, through the use of a clinical vignette, how a systemic approach may be utilized in the conduct of intensive individual psychotherapy.
