Abstract

After giving some historical background on psychic phenomena, including research on this subject by psychiatrists, the author sets forth ten distinguishing characteristics of the "ultraconscious summit." He suggests that if clinicians encourage patients to disclose any paranormal experiences and if data on these are collected and analyzed, then a rational breakthrough in this area might well occur.
