George Ginsberg Fellowship
Organization: American Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT)

Brief Description: This fellowship program acknowledges the excellence and the accomplishments of outstanding residents interested in education and teaching.
Eligibility: Applicants must be in a general or child and adolescent psychiatry residency program or in a psychiatry subspecialty fellowship.
Peter Henderson MD Memorial Award

Brief Description: This award is given for the best unpublished work in the area of child and adolescent psychiatry. The winner will receive a $500 honorarium as well as have expenses covered for the award recipient to attend AADPRT's Annual Meeting.
Eligibility: Current general psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry residents, and graduates within the last 2 years.
Geriatric Mental Health Foundation's Honors Scholarships
Organization: American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP)
Deadline: October 1, 2018
Brief Description: Provides residents a 1-year membership to AAGP; registration and travel costs to attend the AAGP Annual Meeting; and participation in an academic project related to geriatric psychiatry under the supervision of an assigned mentor.
Eligibility: PGY-1, 2, or 3 in an accredited psychiatry residency program.
American Psychosomatic Society (APS) Scholar Awards

Brief Description: Between 10 and 24 APS Scholar Awards are presented to outstanding abstract submissions in which the first author of an accepted abstract is either a student, resident, or fellow. Each award provides monetary assistance for the APS conference fees, travel, and hotel accommodations.
Eligibility: Applicants must be first author on an abstract accepted for presentation at the APS Annual Meeting; a student or trainee enrolled in medical, graduate, or undergraduate school or in a residency, internship, or postdoctoral fellowship program; and a member of APS, or in the process of applying for membership (for a membership application, please visit the membership section on the APS website).
Maclean Scholars Travel Award

Brief Description: The MacLean Scholar awards were created to enable at least five neuroscience trainees to attend the APS Annual Meeting and interact with the recipient of the Paul D. MacLean Award for Outstanding Neuroscience Research in Psychosomatic Medicine. MacLean Scholar winners will receive travel reimbursement in the amount of $500 to attend the meeting.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a member of APS or in the process of applying for membership (for a membership application, please visit the membership section on the APS website) and an undergraduate or graduate student, postdoctoral fellow, or medical student or resident physician.
