Purchase Tickets Now for APEX Awards Presentation

On April 18, APA and the APA Foundation will award individuals who have demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism, achievement, and success in working to improve humane care and effective treatment for individuals with mental disorders. The awards, known as the American Psychiatric Excellence Awards (APEX), will be presented at a ceremony at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., hosted by award-winning journalist Cokie Roberts. A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Purchase your tickets now for this special event. It is being held in conjunction with the Stepping Up National Summit, whose goal is to reduce the criminalization of people with mental illness. ■
