HAPA to Meet in San Diego: Register Now

The Hellenic American Psychiatric Association (HAPA) will hold its 18th annual meeting in conjunction with APA’s 2017 Annual Meeting in San Diego. It will take place on Tuesday, May 23, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The location will be announced at a later date.
The keynote speaker is HAPA President-elect Philip J. Candilis, M.D., director of the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, D.C., and a clinical professor of psychiatry at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Howard University College of Medicine. He will present the lecture “It’s Our Turn Now: Refugees, Relief Workers, and Resilience.”
A Dutch-treat dinner at a local restaurant will follow the meeting. Those interested in attending the meeting and dinner must register and pay dues by credit card or PayPal on HAPA’s website. Dues may also be mailed to HAPA Treasurer Katina Matthews-Ferrari, M.D., 19022 Midway Boulevard, Port Charlotte, Fla. A membership application can also be accessed on HAPA’s website.
