Free Subscription to Psychiatric Services for U.S., Canadian Members

APA members are invited to visit the APA/APPI Periodicals Exhibit in the APA Resource Center while attending APA’s 2002 annual meeting in Philadelphia and sign up for a free subscription to Psychiatric Services.
Signing up takes only moments, and while there, APA members may also pick up free copies of the latest issues of the American Journal of Psychiatry, Psychiatric News, and the other journals published by American Psychiatric Publishing Inc.: Academic Psychiatry, American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, Journal of Neuropsychiatry, and Psychosomatics.
Psychiatric Services is a peer-reviewed monthly journal published by APA since 1950. The free monthly subscription will keep members abreast of research on improving programs and service delivery in mental health systems, particularly for vulnerable populations in the public sector.
In addition, columns such as Law and Psychiatry, edited by Paul S. Appelbaum, M.D., Economic Grand Rounds, edited by Steven S. Sharfstein, M.D., Practical Psychotherapy, edited by Marcia Kraft Goin, M.D., Ph.D., and Best Practices, edited by William M. Glazer, M.D., keep readers informed of trends and issues that impact the practice of psychiatry.
