Plan Your Time Now!

Like it or not, demands on your time at APA’s 2002 annual meeting promise to keep you busy from early morning till late at night. Here’s one service that will help you plan your schedule and increase your efficiency. Philip R. Muskin, M.D., chair of the Scientific Program Committee, has announced that the entire program schedule can be downloaded into your Palm Pilot from APA’s Web site at www.psych.org/sched_events/ann_mtg_02/palm/. There are two versions: one version (aptly named “Large”) is a complete listing of the program, while the other version (“Small”) has only highlights. Please be sure to check that your handheld has adequate memory for the download. The file will automatically go into the “Unfiled” category of your device. Included is the software for viewing the file (Word to Go).
“As this is a pilot program, there may be some minor problems,” said Muskin, “and we expect to refine the process for future meetings. I hope to see you in Philadelphia, clicking away as you explore the many wonderful sessions during the meeting.”
