Disaster Workshop

At APA’s 2003 annual meeting in San Francisco, the Council on Global Psychiatry will sponsor a workshop involving the psychiatric dimensions of disaster. The workshop, titled “Global Trauma: Experience and Implications for DSM-V,” will involve current research being conducted in this field both nationally and internationally. The goal of the workshop is to focus future research agendas for revising diagnostic concepts of trauma and its associated disorders. The workshop will be held Wednesday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m, in Golden Gate Hall A on the B-2 level of the Marriott.
