National Sleep Foundation: www.sleepfoundation.org. The NSF offers a children’s sleep diary (requires grades 2 to 5 reading skills); a comic book, “Time to Sleep With P.J. Bear”; fact sheets for parents; and 2004 Sleep in America poll findings.
Sleep Well. Do Well. Star Sleeper Campaign: http://starsleep.nhlbi.nih.gov. Garfield the cat helps the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research teach children aged 7 to 11, parents, educators, and health care providers the importance of sufficient sleep.
