Psychiatrist Appointed

Mark Willenbring, M.D., has joined the National Institute on Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse as director of its Division of Treatment and Recovery Research. He will be responsible for developing and supporting clinical research on therapies for alcohol abuse and alcoholism.
Before coming to the institute, Willenbring was a professor of psychiatry at the University of Minnesota and served as medical director of the Addictive Disorders Section at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis.▪
