HAPA to Meet In New York City

The Hellenic American Psychiatric Association (HAPA) will hold its fifth annual meting on Tuesday, May 4, in conjunction with APA’s 2004 annual meeting in New York City.
The HAPA meeting will be held in the Alvin/Carnegie Room on the conference level of the Grand Hyatt from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The evening’s events include HAPA’s business meeting, a scientific presentation, and dinner.
The scientific session, titled “What Can Cognitive Impairment Teach Us About Depression,” will be presented by George S. Alexopoulos, M.D., a professor of psychiatry and director of the Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
Attendance is free for HAPA members; the fee for nonmembers is $55. Save on fees by joining HAPA now; HAPA dues are $50 a year for general members, and $25 for members-in-training.
