Psychoanalysts To Pay Tribute To Marmor

The American Academy of Psychoanalysis and Dynamic Psychiatry will hold a memorial tribute for Judd Marmor, M.D., a past president of APA, who died last December. Marmor was a founding member and past president of the academy.
The Marmor Memorial will take place on Sunday, May 2, during this year’s meetings of the academy and APA. The program, which begins at 10:15 a.m., will be held in the Riverside Ballroom on the third floor of the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. All members and guests of APA are invited to attend.
The academy’s president-elect, Joseph P. Merlino, M.D., will chair the program. Speakers include Ian Alger, M.D., Marianne Eckardt, M.D., Jack Drescher, M.D., James Eaton, M.D., and Judd Marmor’s son, Michael F. Marmor, M.D. Scott Schwartz, M.D., will perform a medieval musical tribute followed by audience tributes introduced by the academy’s president, Ann R. Turkel, M.D.
