Bruno Lima Award

APA's district branches are invited to recognize outstanding contributions of up to two of their members who have cared for and demonstrated understanding of the victims of disasters. Contributions can include designing disaster response plans, providing direct service delivery in time of disaster, or providing disaster consultation, education, and/or research.
Submission materials must include a nomination letter signed by the district branch president with a description of the district branch's selection process; a one-page description of the activities for which the individual is being nominated, along with a description of the disaster events; a letter summarizing the nominee's contributions; a one-page biographical sketch of the nominee; and any other supporting documentation.
The deadline is March 1, 2006, for consideration for the next year's award. More information is available by e-mail from Erin Dalder-Alpher at [email protected].
