Clarification

In an article in the March 18 issue about training requirements for psychologists wishing to become licensed to prescribe drugs, it was reported that a proposal to incorporate psychopharmacology into the predoctoral curriculum in psychology at the Louisiana State University was rejected by the university administration. In fact, the chair of the department of psychology said that he had withdrawn the proposal due to political pressure from organized professional psychology. ▪
