Nominations Invited

APA invites nominations for its 2006 Jeanne Spurlock Minority Fellowship Achievement Award. This award recognizes the outstanding achievements of alumni of the APA minority fellowships and encourages continued involvement in the fellowship program.
Nominations should include a brief letter describing the nominee's contributions and details about his or her qualifications for the award and the nominee's curriculum vitae.
This year's award will be presented at the minority fellows and alumni reception at APA's 2005 annual meeting in Atlanta in May.
The deadline for receipt of nominations is April 30.
The winner of the 2005 award is former fellow Robert T.M. Phillips, M.D., Ph.D., president of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law and psychiatric consultant to the Protective Intelligence Division of the U.S. Secret Service.
