NAPHS Honors Specter

The National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems honored Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) last month in conjunction with its annual meeting in Washington, D.C. The organization recognized Specter “for his efforts in Congress to ensure that a full continuum of appropriate and affordable treatment is available to those with mental illnesses and substance abuse problems,” according to a press release. ▪
