APA Seeks Input on College Mental Health

Do you work with college students? If so, APA's Corresponding Committee on Mental Health on College Campuses, the successor to the Presidential Task Force on Mental Health on College Campuses, would like to hear from you. The information will be used to assist the committee with targeting its projects.
Employment by a college or university, consultation with a college health service, private-practice treatment of patients referred by the university, and other arrangements all apply.
Also, psychiatrists interested in college mental health are invited to attend an informal discussion on college mental health at APA's 2007 annual meeting on Tuesday, May 22, at 4 p.m. in the San Diego Marriott Hotel and Marina in the New York Room, North Tower, Lobby Level.
Please e-mail a short description of the kinds of work you do for colleges and universities to [email protected]. Information that psychiatrists might find useful regarding college mental health is posted at APA's HealthyMinds, Healthy Lives Web site at<www.healthyminds.org>.
