New Guidelines

The APA Steering Committee on Practice Guidelines is presenting a workshop at APA's 2007 annual meeting on practice guidelines in development on evidence-based recommendations for the treatment of dementia, panic disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Steering Committee Chair John McIntyre, M.D., and Laura Fochtmann, M.D., will review APA's guideline development process. Lon Schneider, M.D., will discuss the dementia guideline, Murray Stein, M.D., will discuss the panic disorder guideline, and Lorrin Koran, M.D., will talk about the obsessive-compulsive disorder guideline.
The workshop will be held Wednesday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room 24A, Upper Level, San Diego Convention Center. ▪
