Dukakis to Speak at HAPA Meeting

Kitty Dukakis, the author of the recently released book Shock: The Healing Power of Electroconvulsive Therapy, will participate in a special scientific session sponsored by the Hellenic American Psychiatric Association (HAPA) on Tuesday, May 22, in San Diego.
The session is part of HAPA's eighth annual meeting, which is being held in conjunction with APA's 2007 annual meeting.
The HAPA meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in Grand Ballroom C on Level 4 of the Omni Hotel. HAPA provides CME credit. The presentation will follow a dinner and brief annual business meeting.
According to Maria Lymberis, M.D., HAPA founder and a past president, those attending the meeting will be charged the annual HAPA dues of $50. There may be an additional charge of $10 to $20 to cover the cost of dinner and honoraria.
