Marmor Nominees Sought

The Judd Marmor Award was endowed in 1999 by the late Judd Marmor, M.D., to honor an individual who has contributed to advancing the biopsychosocial model of psychiatry and to understanding the multifactorial elements involved in mental health and illness. Recipients can be in the field of neuropsychological science, literature, history, or pedagogy.
The award consists of a $1,000 honorarium and an honorary plaque. The recipient must present a lecture at APA's annual meeting or Institute on Psychiatric Services.
Nominations for the 2011 award must be made by APA members and include a letter setting out in detail the justification for the nomination along with the nominee's CV and an up-to-date bibliography. Nominees must be citizens of the United States or Canada. The deadline for submissions is August 27.
Materials should be submitted by e-mail to Harold Goldstein, Ph.D., at [email protected].
