Actress Dianne Wiest to Perform at Annual Meeting

Dianne Wiest, two-time Academy Award winner and winner of an Emmy for her role in HBO’s drama “In Treatment,” will play Mary Tyrone in a reading from Eugene O’Neill’s “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” in a presentation of the Addiction Performance Project at APA’s 2012 annual meeting. The project is sponsored by NIDAMED, the physicians’ outreach initiative of the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The performance, which will be followed by an expert panel reaction and audience discussion, will be held Tuesday, May 8, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Pennsylvania Convention Center’s Terrace Ballroom IV.
