Abstract

This article describes a pilot mental health program that provides psychotherapeutic services to community college students from minority and low-income families and trains minority mental health professionals. The authors detail development of the program, selection of staff and trainees, evolution of a supervisory system to promote learning and alleviate friction, and contributions of staff and trainees to student health services.
