Abstract

In "Informed Consent for Neuroleptic Therapy" by Joseph DeVeaugh-Geiss, M.D., in the July 1979 issue, there were three errors. In the second column on page 960, the last line of the first full paragraph should read, "... ideally a neuropsychiatrist with training and experience in evaluating psychiatric and movement disorders..." On page 961 the fourth sentence should read. "Finally, the patient is free to seek treatment from another practitioner whose expertise and therapeutic skills may be more congruent with his own needs...," and the first sentence of the second paragraph in the second column should read, "In a recent survey of 15 patients with tardive dyskinesia, I inquired repeatedly about the existence of the dyskinesia...."
The staff regrets these errors.
