Crisis Treatment of a Preadolescent Who Accidentally Killed His Twin

Abstract

Justification and effectiveness of a multimodal approach to treating a préadolescent who accidentally killed his twin is presented and recommended as a model for treatment of similarly disturbed children. The interaction of dynamically oriented therapy, pharmacotherapy, conflictresolution/problem-solving-skills training, biofeedback/desensitization, and family work is detailed.
