Brief Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy of Nonpsychotic Depression

Abstract

Ten factors play the dominant role in all depressions, regardless of etiology, such as problems of self-esteem, a sense of disappointment, feelings of deception, though in differing rank order for each depressed person. Areas of intervention and methods of intervention must be clearly formulated and vigorously worked through.
