Abstract

Demoralization is a common mental health problem, often reflected in moping behavior. Focal treatment through the use of behavioral prescription offers advantages over more costly and time-consuming methods. This approach rebuilds self-esteem through capitalizing on the moping individual’s capacity for effective action in response to the therapist’s directives.
