Abstract

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is understood in terms of a complex interaction between neurophysiological growth, environmental demand, and ego-development. Various therapeutic approaches have been recommended, including cognitive training and psychodynamic psychotherapy. Cognitive impairments demand modifications in the usual psychotherapeutic techniques to develop an effective integrated approach to treatment.
