Appreciation to Reviewers

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the many individuals who have volunteered their time and expertise over the past year to provide peer review for the American Journal of Psychotherapy. Given the ongoing challenges of 2022, including a persistent global pandemic, a war in Ukraine, and tremendous demands on our mental health workforce, I am especially grateful to those who have made the time to provide reviews. The journal relies heavily on the expertise of volunteer reviewers not only to ensure that we attract and publish high-quality articles but also to help shape the journal’s future. As we continue to establish ourselves as a home for reports on a plurality of psychotherapy modalities across a wide range of research methods, I am especially grateful for the suggestions, feedback, and pointed critiques provided by our very diverse group of reviewers. Their invaluable input improves the quality of the articles we publish and provides critical guidance for editorial decisions. My sincere thanks to all our reviewers for their keen wisdom and generosity in the service of improving and advancing the journal’s excellence.
I also wish to express gratitude to the journal’s editorial and management staff who work tirelessly to shepherd manuscripts through the review, copyediting, and publication process. Their attention to issues large and small ensures a high-quality product.
Please accept my sincere thanks and best wishes for another successful year with the American Journal of Psychotherapy.
—Holly A. Swartz, M.D., Editor
