Appreciation to Reviewers

Peer reviewers are an essential part of the scientific community. Feedback to editors and authors enhances the quality of manuscripts and ensures that journals publish the highest-quality articles possible. Despite the tremendous importance of their work, reviewers are uncompensated for their many hours of effort. In recognition of their generous and valued contributions to the American Journal of Psychotherapy, I wish to heartily thank those individuals who provided reviews for the journal over the past year. I am immensely grateful for their wisdom, thoughtful reflections, and expertise.
The suggestions and pointed critiques provided by our diverse group of reviewers, listed below, have helped the journal to grow and flourish. Their invaluable input contributed in no small part to the American Journal of Psychotherapy’s receipt of its first Impact Factor in 2023. My sincere thanks to all our reviewers for their keen wisdom and generosity in the service of improving and advancing the journal’s excellence.
I also wish to express my appreciation for the journal’s editorial and management staff who work tirelessly on behalf of the American Journal of Psychotherapy. I value their support, rigorous attention to detail, and expertise in the publication process. Their attention to issues large and small ensures a high-quality journal.
With gratitude and warm wishes for a peaceful and healthy new year.
—Holly A. Swartz, M.D., Editor
