Appreciation to Reviewers

Publication: American Journal of Psychotherapy
I wish to express my sincere appreciation to the many individuals who have volunteered their time and wisdom over the past year to provide peer review for the American Journal of Psychotherapy. Given the multitude of challenges facing us in 2020, including an unprecedented global pandemic and a long-overdue focus on systemic racism, I am especially grateful to those who have found time to provide reviews. The journal relies heavily on the expertise of reviewers not only to ensure that we attract and publish high-quality manuscripts but also to help shape the journal’s future. As we continue to establish ourselves as a Big Tent home for topics related to a plurality of psychotherapy modalities, I am especially grateful for the suggestions, feedback, and pointed critiques provided by our very diverse group of reviewers. Their invaluable input improves the quality of the papers we publish and provides critical guidance for editorial decisions. My sincere thanks to all our reviewers for their selflessness and generosity in the service of improving and advancing the journal’s excellence.I also wish to express gratitude to the journal’s editorial and management staff who work tirelessly to shepherd manuscripts through the review, copy editing, and publication process. Their attention to issues large and small ensures a high-quality product. Please accept my sincere thanks and best wishes for another successful year with the American Journal of Psychotherapy.—Holly A.
