Unknown to the author, the term “Psychosynthesis” was first coined by an Italian psychiatrist, Roberto Assagioli (1888–), who published an article in Hilbert Journal, Vol. 32, 184–201, in 1934 with this term, interestingly enough, used for a different concept.
