For You From the American Psychiatric Foundation

Attend a special session on charitable estate planning

The American Psychiatric Foundation will present a special educational workshop by gift-planning expert Richard Barrett that will provide valuable charitable estate planning strategies. This session will help you achieve these goals:
• Reduce your current, future, and estate taxes
• Provide new streams of income for you and your family right now
• Ensure that your favorite charities are supported while providing for your heirs
The workshop is free to all annual meeting attendees, but preregistration is required. Box lunches will be provided. The date and location of the session will be announced in a future issue and on the foundation’s Web site at www.PsychFoundation.org. Contact Meghan Glynn at [email protected] to register.

Visit the foundation’s booth in the Convention Center

APA members are also invited to visit the booth of the American Psychiatric Foundation, which will be located in the APA Resource Center in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, to learn more on these topics:
• The foundation's programs and their impact on psychiatry
• Applying to the foundation for a grant
• Ways to support the foundation
• Charitable estate planning
• Applying for the foundation's fellowships and awards
Additional information can be found at the foundation’s Web site at www.PsychFoundation.org.
