Need Help With Part D?

Medicare's new prescription drug benefit (Part D) goes into effect on January 1, 2006. As you try to help patients eligible for this benefit navigate complex information and select a plan that best fits their needs, questions with no easy answers are bound to arise. To help you get the information you need, APA's Office of Healthcare Systems and Financing has created a new service that allows you to submit questions by phone to its Part D QLine or by e-mail and receive prompt answers. You can contact this service at
E-mail: [email protected] Phone: (866) 882-6227
This service is in addition to the Web site that APA created with other mental health advocacy groups at<www.mentalhealthpartd.org/>. This site provides breaking news on Medicare Part D and other useful information for psychiatrists and patients and their families.
