This chapter includes treatments, for children and adults, of disorders subsumed under the category of sleep-wake disorders in DSM-5 (American Psychiatric Association 2013). The entire spectrum of treatment modalities for sleep disorders is too diverse for inclusion in such a brief chapter; we have, therefore, selected those that have a high level of empirical support and consensus among experts in the field and those that are most relevant in clinical practice.
