Often clinicians are asked to participate as consultants in the setting of a team meeting or consultation. These consultations frequently center on diagnosis and treatment decisions, bringing pathology focus to the conversation. Solution-focused consultation utilizes the same techniques that are used in solution-focused supervision, as discussed in Chapter 11. This chapter looks more specifically at consultation involving treatment teams.
