November 17–18, 2000, Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders for the Practitioner, sponsored and hosted by Mayo Clinic, Scottsdale, Arizona. This course for primary care physicians, general internists, and neurologists focuses on recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease, tremor, dystonia, hemifacial spasm, and tardive dyskinesia. Symptomatic therapies, surgical treatments, the use of botulinum toxin, and video presentations of actual cases will be highlighted. November 30, 2000, Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology Award Nomination Deadline. The CCNP seeks nominees for the following awards for contributions to neuropsychopharmacology in Canada: CCNP Medal for lifetime career contributions; Heinz Lehmann Award (C$5,000) for outstanding contributions to the field; CCNP Innovations in Neuropsychopharmacology Research Award ($5,000) for outstanding innovations in the field by an individual or group; Young Investigator Award ($2,500 plus $2,000 grant) for contributions by investigators who are 10 years or less from their Ph.D. or residency.
