Nominations Invited For Gralnick Award

The American Psychiatric Foundation, APA's charitable affiliate, invites submissions for the 2006 Alexander Gralnick, M.D., Award for Research in Schizophrenia.
The award annually acknowledges research achievements in treatment, emphasizing early diagnosis and psychosocial aspects of the disease process.
The amount of the award is $4,000, and the winner is invited to present a lecture at APA's 2006 Institute on Psychiatric Services.
Applicants should submit a statement summarizing the nature of their research relevant to the award, emphasizing its internal consistency and scientific implications; a list of publications (or articles accepted for publication) relevant to the award; and an up-to-date curriculum vitae and bibliography.
The deadline for submission of applications is September 1. The original application and four copies should be sent to Thomas H. McGlashan, M.D., Chair, Alexander Gralnick, M.D., Award for Research in Schizophrenia, American Psychiatric Foundation, 1000 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1825, Arlington, Va. 22209.
