Lt. Governor Honored

The Rhode Island Psychiatric Society (RIPS) has presented Lt. Gov. Charles Fogarty with its Eleanor Slater Award in recognition of his advocacy work for better mental health care services, including parity in insurance coverage.
The award acknowledges an individual in public service who has spoken on behalf of the need for psychiatric care and against the stigma that often is attached to mental illness. ▪
