HAPA to Meet In Atlanta

The Hellenic American Psychiatric Association (HAPA) will hold its 2005 meeting on Tuesday, May 24, in conjunction with APA's annual meeting in Atlanta.
The meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites Olympic Centennial Park in Atlanta from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The evening's events include HAPA's business meeting, a scientific presentation, and dinner.
There will be two scientific sessions this year: “Border Psychology: The Case of Cyprus,” presented by Lisa Aronson, J.D., Ph.D., M.S.W., director of the Center for the Study of Mind and Human Interaction at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville; and “The Role of Folate in Depression,” presented by George I. Papakostas, M.D., staff psychiatrist in the Depression Clinical and Research Program in the department of psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
HAPA's annual business meeting will follow the scientific presentations.
The Embassy Suites at Olympic Centennial Park is located at 267 Marrietta Street.
Attendance is free for HAPA members and $55 for nonmembers. Save on fees by joining HAPA now; HAPA dues are $50 a year for general members, and $25 for members-in-training.
