Nominations Invited for Bruno Lima Award

APA invites nominations from district branches for its 2008 Bruno Lima Award for Excellence in Disaster Psychiatry.
District branches may submit the names of up to two members who have demonstrated care and understanding to victims of disasters. Contributions include designing disaster-response plans, providing services in time of disaster, or conducting disaster consultation, education, and/or research.
Submission materials must include a nomination letter signed by the district branch president with a description of the selection process; a one-page description of the activities for which the individual is nominated and a description of the disaster events; a letter summarizing the nominee's contributions; a one-page biographical sketch of the nominee; and other documentation thought to be relevant in the selection process.
