Updates in Correctional Health Care

The conference "Updates in Correctional Health Care" will be held from May 21 to 24 in Phoenix. More than 1,000 correctional health professionals, including psychiatrists, are expected to attend.
The conference is designed to shed light on many of the emerging issues that affect health care work in correctional settings and to propose strategies for managing them. A broad array of clinical, research, and administrative topics will be covered, including new treatment modalities, updated practice recommendations, evolving standards of care, shifts in patient presentation trends, new and revised laws and regulations, and cost-containment strategies.
Registration information, including a link to online registration, is posted at <www.ncchc.org/education/updates2011.html>.
