Correction

In the letter to the Editor "Psychomotor Epilepsy and Violence" from Matti Virkkunen, M.D., on pages 646-647 of the May 1983 issue, the sentence on line 3 of page 647 that begins "They judged that there had been epilepsy if one of the following three criteria were met" should read, "They judged that there had been epilepsy if the three following criteria were met: `1) Subjects had to have experienced well-documented episodes, observed by others, of lapses of fully conscious contact with reality. 2) These episodes had to have been followed by confusion, fatigue, or sleep. 3) Memory for these episodes had to be impaired or absent.' " The staff regrets this error.
