    In this chapter we provide practical teaching strategies using the frame of the four motivational interviewing (MI) processes (engaging, focusing, evoking, and planning) and example content to use. Teaching strategies include didactic and experiential learning followed by supervision, monitoring, and feedback. The goal is for these strategies to recapitulate the spirit of MI.
