Correctional Care Meeting to Be Held in May

The National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) will hold its Updates in Correctional Health Care Conference from May 19 to 22 in San Antonio, Texas, on the theme “Preventing Recidivism: Where Do You Fit In?” The conference will feature concurrent sessions in such areas as medical care, nursing, cost containment, legal issues, mental health care, and juvenile services. There also will be a special educational track presented by Community-Oriented Correctional Health Services. Topics will include use of health information technology and legal issues.
